Top notch experience. Service, food and drink all the best. The outdoor area was warm on a chilly evening and the vibe for the holidays were awesome.
Went for their Sunday brunch (also avail on Sat), really enjoyed. Lotsa menu choices; I had the huevos rancheros which I thought were great, the eggs were perfect also there were 3 ,perfect beans had a slight kick, the sausage was great little pieces well cooked no grease in the dish, the tortillas were crisp just an overall yummy dish, the only thing is it was like warm vs hot. Husb had the eggs Benedict which ultimately he enjoyed, the first set were hard boiled not soft, they remade no problem. Manager even came by expedited the quick fix. We will be back and sit inside again. We selected to sit inside it was a bit loud altho comfy; their patio was hopping too with music.
Great food , great service, great atmosphere. I had the carpaccio, tuna tartare and the ribeye, everything was delicious. Shelby was outstanding. Recommended a great wine pair and dessert.
Today is my birthday and my wife brought me to Meating Street to celebrate! When the hostess brought us to our table a small note wishing me Happy Birthday was on the table, it was thoughtful and greatly appreciated. We started with two Aperol Spritz cocktails, later on we ordered two French onion soups, my wife ordered the Ahi tuna, I had the 16 ounce Prime Rib, temperature rare , and for dessert the Tiramisu. The food was delicious, everything was perfect. Our server Gaby was friendly, efficient and professional, she had the rare ability to make us feel valued. She came and checked on us more than a few times. Also Dan the manager came to check on us and gave us dessert on the house for my birthday, nice touch. It's a classy, romantic restaurant, perfect for our next date night! To my fellow Yelpers, check out Meating Street, you won't regret it. Great experience!
We were seated promptly for our reservation. We sat inside which had a romantic feel of dim lighting. We saw a lot of people going outside as well so definitely interested in seeing how it is on the water. We started with mussels and then had steak and chicken saltimbocca for our entrees. We heard a few tables mentioning that service had been slow. I agree it wasn't the fastest but we were enjoying our night together and didn't mind as some others did.
Calamari starter is good, filet and ribeyes good, duck is good. Servers are fine. Ambience is lively but not loud. Music is kinda nightclubish lol Prices are a little crazy but it is worth it
We went for the Friday night Speakeasy which we love. It's open 10-2 with DJ. We ordered a bunch of things off the menu to try. The waiter was prompt and came quickly with our drinks - 2 woodfords old fashioned The lights were dim and dark nice late night vibe. For food we ordered the calamar, the ribs, the waygu meatballs, French onion soup and Brussels sprouts and the crème brûlée And before the night ended I ordered lychee martini as my nightcap which is normally usually Amazing- but tonight not so much. They didn't have any of the fruits and the martini tasted watery. First time I've had this issue though could be cause it wasn't my usual bartender. Our old fashion which is also typically amazing was just average. Not spectacular once again could be the bartender not the typical one that we're used to being there. Still Gets 5 starts though cause we love this place for the vibe.
Happy hour at Meeting Street was a delight! Flavorful dishes, tender filet mignon tips, hefty Smashburger, tasty mahi-mahi, and perfect calamari. Great cocktails, helpful staff(Trevor), and beautiful lake views. Perfect for impressing or business meetings. At night during the weekend this transforms into a lounge with a dress code. Happy hour is from 2:30-5pm everyday at the bar or outside bar. We have dined at Meating Street several times since moving to PSL. We have never had a bad experience. Service & food has always been good to very good. Our recent visit was to try their prix fixe menu. He had the Caesar Salad, I enjoyed the House Salad. I love the Balsamic dressing, just wish it had a tad bit more. We ordered the Pork Belly appetizer, not part of the prix fixe. Not bad, but the crackling part was break your tooth hard. We both ordered the Surf & Turf which is a 6 oz Wagyu Sirloin with 3 Grilled Shrimp. I don't do shellfish, so my husband lucks out on extra shrimp. The steaks were perfectly cooked medium & medium rare as ordered. The taste was very good. It was served with whipped potatoes. Also good. Dessert is whatever they bring out, no choice. This time it was a chocolate cake. Husband doesn't care for chocolate. Yay me! I brought home an extra slice of cake for later. The dining room is nice. Dark woods& comfortable seats. Temperature and music are both set at comfortable levels. Staff is friendly & welcoming. Servers are friendly & attentive. The price point is on par with similar restaurants. The prix fixe menu is nice, with several options and a fairly good value. It's nice to have it as an option if dining early.
